WENDY JEAN IANNICO
On September 1, 2005 Wendy Jean Iannico took over the round dancing program for the Caper Cutters, having succeeded the late Ken Croft, our cuer of 30 years. Wendy Jean was Ken's backup cuer for the previous two and half years since their meeting at a Northern California Round Dance Teachers meeting.
She lives in San Carlos with her partner, Raymond James. They started square dancing with the Roadrunners of San Mateo in 1995. In 1998 they began round dancing with Jim Chico and shortly thereafter Wendy Jean started cueing for the Peninsula Squares and the Star 8's. She has been a cuer for the Sunnyvale Singles and has cued at Willows, Golden State, numerous hoedowns in the Bay Area and three state conventions.
With Raymond, Wendy Jean successfully taught a two-step class in 2004 and a waltz class in 2005. They also ran several well-attended phase III clinics in 2005 in the Sunnyvale area.
Wendy Jean and Raymond have been members of Roundalab. They belonged to the Universal Round Dance Council (URDC), and Northern California Round Dance Teachers Association where Wendy Jean was treasurer.
Wendy Jean worked as an office manager for a small company in Burlingame until her retirement at the end of 2004. Raymond owns his own business, Econo-Rooster.
